Turning Ground is a place where individuals can engage in the ongoing process of reorienting our lives towards God through encounter with the natural world.
Our goal is to care for the land with respect and share the Earth’s bounty with the community.
Turning Ground is situated on 30 acres on the eastern side of Owen County, Indiana about 10 miles from Bloomington. Little Raccoon Creek flows through before making its way to the White River.

Meet and Greet and Tree Giveaway!
Come over and meet us! We’re excited to meet more of our neighbors, explain a little about what we’re doing, and give away saplings from the Neighborhood Planting Project. We’ll have Persimmon, Hazelnut, Chokeberry, and Elderberry available and whatever is left over we’ll plant at Turning Ground.
